We had a case, also in July, that was a semi-homicide. By semi-homicide, I mean that the male victim was shot in the back and head and was rushed to the hospital. He was not expected to make it through the night, but did. However, he was diagnosed as a qualrapalegic and brain dead. I photographed the crime scene and took several interesting pictures. He had collapsed near a blue car and we found blood spatter with the victims hair in it.
The other case was a fatal car accident. Two males were on their way to work in the early morning hours. They were traveling 40 mph on Route 1 in Melbourne. They could not see in front of them, because the sun was blinding. They slammed into the back of a semi-truck and did not even slam on the brakes. The car was completely smashed and both gentlemen were severely injured. I don't not know what the fate of these gentlemen were.
